Cracks in calm conversational contrast
A headstrong song holds on as
They play along
She’s fine with it
Are you?
The disarming sting sings out, staying strong and
Long for wisps of smoke
Serene scratching until
I crack and out I pour
How she got here
Mermaid hair floats, or
Streaks of colour
Whether the girl is beyond the wall
Vast landscapes infested with houses
Invested, digested, digging
Branches or wings
Flying or falling
