Yessssss, I thought the first day of Lockdown
Breakfast was yum on the first day of Lockdown
It was cloudy
School was out on the first day of Lockdown

We went on a walk on the second day of Lockdown
We saw birds, creeks and shrimp on second day of Lockdown
The leaves crunch under my feet
Fresh outside-air tickles my nose on the second day of Lockdown

Learning badminton on the third day of Lockdown
Serving the shuttlecock on the third day of Lockdown
Wacking the shuttlecock
Damn! I hit the net on the third day of Lockdown

Lunch was good on the fourth day of Lockdown
Muffins, sandwiches, strawberry yoghurt on the fourth day of Lockdown
Green grass sparkles in the sun
Bright, bright sun on the fourth day of Lockdown

Computer games on the fifth day of Lockdown
Classic Minecraft, Pac-man, on the fifth day of Lockdown
Almost got square eyes
Too much screen time on the fifth day of Lockdown

Zoom meetings with my friends on the sixth day of Lockdown
Lauren, Polly, and Billie are the names on the sixth day of Lockdown
Sometimes – didn’t work, sometimes – did
Talking on the chat on the sixth day of Lockdown

Went on a bike ride on the seventh day of Lockdown
It rained on the seventh day of Lockdown
It was cold
We saw friends with raincoats zipped up, on the seventh day of Lockdown
