Sam Averis lives in Christchurch with his wife and daughters. He is an associate editor at Flash Frontier, and his stories have appeared in takahe ̄, Geometry, Psychopomp Magazine, and elsewhere. In 2016 two of his stories were highly commended in National Flash Fiction Day.
