Julie Hill is a writer and documentary maker. Her short story collection ShameJoy was published in 2014. She contributes feature articles to Spinoff, North & South and Metro. Her plays include the award-winning Whistle Solo and Stories Told To Me By Girls. She has written scripts for comedy and children’s TV shows, and her feature film Broke But Sexy aired on Maori TV and screened in NZ and Germany.
