Polly lounges in her usual spot at McDonalds, fourth table from the right. She studies the colour of the wall behind her. Red, her favourite colour. That is what she always wears as it suits her red hair. She has an excruciatingly painful sunburn on her face and is waiting for her mum to come back from the pharmacy.

When her mum arrives she looks everywhere for her “little girl” but can’t find her. Polly’s little disappearing act has worked again.
