Come along to a FREE writing workshop where you’ll explore the city searching for street art that will inspire ‘words’ as wonderful as the images on the walls! You will learn writing techniques such as using metaphor, point of view and voice to shape your ideas about an art-piece into a poem or short story.  Suitable for: Teens, Adults and Seniors

After meeting at the Library at 12:30pm, we will join Reuben Woods from Watch This Space for a fascinating visit to murals nearby. Dress to the weather conditions of the day and bring a camera with you. We then return to the Library for a 2 hour writing exercise with Gail Ingram. Bring pen and paper or a laptop and a snack.

At the end you will receive a $10 gift voucher to use when you book a street art guided tour with Watch This Space.
